The cold, dark end of this week is already here. Nothing like the unbearable dread that comes with scaring yourself into submission in order to get through the week. Scary Movie 5 has it all! It has scenes featuring the apocalypse, haunted houses, and haunted phone booths (seriously). There's no time like the present; in fact, I'm already considering writing in my calendar that every Monday night should be dedicated to watching this movie just so I don't have to face that big pile of work on Monday morning ever again. This week we have a lot of extra stuff to share with you guys, so we'd like to take this opportunity to welcome back our old friend, the Chicken Chick! But let's not get too carried away here. First, we want to talk about one of the most important things concerning this movie: the title . It may be unclear as to what exactly is scaring these people or what they are fighting against (bees?! Or something else?), but Scary Movie 5 does not fail in its attempt to make you laugh and cringe at the same time. Through its spoofing of National Treasure, The Three Musketeers, Paranormal Activity 4 (The Ghost Dimension), and The Walking Dead (considered by many to be the last movie that will get you through this week) just to name a few, this movie has its fair share of laughs. It's the perfect way to get yourself back into this week. And not just because you'll want to get out of there as soon as possible! There may possibly be nothing more terrifying than National Treasure . So if you love this film, or if you'd like to prove your love for it by making sure everyone else hates it too, then Scary Movie 5 is your best bet. Otherwise, you'll have to watch the trailer in order to get in the spirit of things. The original director of Scary Movie 5 , Ivan Reitman, has also come aboard the film, which will no doubt help in making this movie one of the most intense parodies possible. This week, things are not looking too great for our heroes. They're surrounded by bees! Seems like they're the only ones who can see them, but that doesn't make them any less terrifying. The question is: what are they? And more importantly, why do they exist? There's no shortage of funny scenes in this movie (maybe because it's got so many), but one thing is certain: these bees don't make it any easier.
